I can't believe she's 5! I used to think moms that got bent out of shape about their kids getting older were just excessively emotional and dramatic. Now I'm the emotional, dramatic one (much to Jared's delight....ha ha). I guess I just didn't realize that not only do your kids grow super fast, but also all of life speeds up when you have a family. I just have to say that although Jared and I haven't always planned our family the easiest way, I have never once regretted following my feelings regarding our children. I would never have it any other way.

On Maci's actual b-day we went to Pojos in Boise...it was super fun (I rocked the Deal or No Deal Game. Rocked it) But we really went there for Maci. Really.

Happy Birthday Maci!!! I can't believe she is 5. Maci might have the best sense of humor I know. That includes adults. Also, she is soooo smart when it comes to dealing with people. I never will forget when we were in Cheyenne and she was three. She walked away after making a deal with Josh and I about something and we realized we just got tricked by a three year old. It was soooo funny. She is such a sweetie and I am sure will have many best friend through out her life. She is just a people person.

What a cute cake! Wish I could have seen it in person (and eaten some of it too!) Aige had lots of fun and Evelyn was so excited to get her own little bag of princess stuff. we tried not to mention that Aige was heading to the party, since she was sick and couldn't go, she had been talking about it all week, so it brightened her day. GREAT cake! And a kid turning 5 is always hard for me. It is the beginning of the end of them being with me for 24 hours a day and realizing they will go off to school that year.
