Things That Make Me Laugh

This tiniest pile of leaves. She still jumped into it. That's when I laughed.
The way Maci dresses herself and I just have to watch and support and not make her change.
The pink rake we found.

Maci and her poochy tummy trying out gymnastics class.

Paige spitting up right in my shoe.

Paige spitting up right in my other shoe...the next day. We're not talking a few drops.

Jared's voice echoing in our house.

Running right into the back of a guy with my cart at the grocery store. OOps..super sorry. Let me zoom outta here before you notice that I am kidless and had no reason to be that distracted. That probably really hurts.

Forgetting the extra Paige dress for church. I wonder if people think I don't bathe my kids.

Paige army crawling. Probably to get another one of my shoes to spit up into.

We call this BEFORE

If it looks like we have nothing to fill our house, and if it looks like the sofas are the same color as the wall, and if it looks like the counters don't match the cabinets....well it is what it is. All I know is I love this house because it's ours, so the "after" changes will come slowly and maybe never, but it will still be OURS! Also, you get extra points if you can spy the crazy little girl in every picture.
Entry
From Entry, looking at garage door
Living Room...pictures will not be staying that way in case you were worried
Kitchen---minus our real fridge which is NOT white but has yet to be delivered
Upstairs common area...looks over entry
Girls' Bedroom
Love the closet shelving
Playroom/guest room

Also love the playroom shelving (messy toys up top...my life is better)

Master Bedroom

Come and visit us! But don't expect any "after" magic.

OK...it's been awhile since I last posted (as has been kindly pointed out by a few of my favorite individuals), so here is a quick update.
My sister Trish called me awhile back with a super fun plan to surprise my niece, Amber, for her b-day! So Trish secretly flew into Boise where I picked her up and drove to Twin Falls to pick up my sister, Colette. Then we drove to Rexburg to see Amber, who did not know her mom would be there. Does this make any sense? It was SOSOSOSOSO fun! My kids loved it and I loved being with my sisters and my niece and it was just a blast. Let's do it again next weekend. Or tomorrow. Whichever.
Colette and Paige
Maci and Amber Colette, me, Trish Paige at about 6 months...(kind-of young to be balding like that). THEN...when I got home, after a bit of DRAMA, which I hate anyway, we got into our new house!!!! And overnight, my life got so much happier and more spacious. Anyone who tells you that apartment living is easier than living in a house is maybe lying a little bit. Here are some of the things I love about having a house: We can walk around our neighborhood, ON A SIDEWALK, without looking suspicious. When we hear noises upstairs/downstairs, they are coming from one of us. Not counting the crazy ghost toilet, but THAT is another story. Me and Maci can have running races. But not anymore because she won. Jared is no longer working with his computer on the kid table, sitting in the kid recliner. Actually, I kind of think I miss that. I have so many cabinets in my kitchen that one just has bananas in it. There is so much more, but I'm starting to lose brain power. I wanted so badly to take pictures of my house for you, but as I walked from room to room, I realized that no rooms were clean. It's weird because I swear I clean all the rooms all day every day. So SOON I will post pics of the house. When a miracle happens and something stays clean. So this picture is in our hallway (on the clean side of the hallway) and Paige is almost 7 months now. Crazy how time flies. Also, if anyone knows how to get a 7 month old to sleep at night, please please please just share the secret. I'm starting to make crazy mistakes. Like forgetting to take my contacts out at night and then not even realizing in the morning that I could suddenly see while driving. What the...why can I see?!!! So...some advice please. More to come soon.
