Baby Baby

Here's the latest benchmark. Thirty weeks and still growing! Baby's kicking super hard and I'm starting to freak out that I don't remember how to give a baby a bath. Also we still need to get a double stroller, carseat and mini travel crib! Any suggestions on what you guys have/like/dislike? We definitely need suggestions! And seriously, could pregnancy dreams get any weirder?!!!

Well, here is what I like: I have both a jogging stroller and a front/back stroller. I prefer the double jogging stroller. It is lighter and still has storage in the back for diaper bag, etc. I have separate seats, so one can lay down for the baby and the big girl can sit up. Car seat--the safest infant car seat on the market is the Graco Snugride. So I definitely like that one. For us, the best travel crib has been a pack n' play. We love ours--it has a bassinet insert and a diaper changer insert too. Works for us. And don't worry--when baby comes, you'll remember right away how to do baths. And no, pregnancy dreams CANNOT get any weirder. I don't think it is possible!!!

You look so adorable! i love that belly! And yes, it is always cuter on someone else :) And you should move here to TX where there is lots of Cyndi Thompson and others on the radio all the time :)! I'm always trying to find ways to talk people into being closer to us. Did it work?

you look great! You don't look big at all! Good luck in your search for the baby items. I wish I had suggestions, but we are looking for them too! So maybe I will see what people have to say :)

My favorite stroller is at Target, it's a double stroller but it's a "sit and stand" stroller. The front has a seat with straps but you can also put a carrier on it. Then the back is a little seat with seat belts so your toddler can sit to ride, or they can just stand on the back of the stroller too. Plus there is a basket under it. It's easier to control one handed and it has cup holders. I love it! And I would not be able to live without moby!! Go to mobywrap.com and order one, the best 50 bucks you will ever spend. It's a carrier for your baby but it's super secure, and you can even nurse discretely in it! I don't ever leave home with out it! It also makes grocery shopping so much easier because you won't have to worry about wrestling a toddler and a carrier, just put the wrap on before you leave home, and put the baby in it when you get out of the car. Keep us posted, I enjoy the updates!

Summer you are adorable! Oh my gosh you are so tiny! I love it! You will remember everything once that baby comes out! Maci will be a big help too! Make sure to get a double jogging stroller! So cute that Maci asked if Corban loves her! haha Of course he does!

I can't believe you are 30 weeks! You are SO skinny! I don't have any suggestions for strollers or car seats, but we have a pack'n'play with the bassinet insert. We've really liked that... I have a graco, and it works great!

hhhmmmm...the best advice I can give you is to put away your jeans and dont try and see how soon you can fit into them after the baby comes. Just stock up on matching sweats. Although you probably will fit in them right after...
Matching sweats make ya feel cute, but give ya the excuse to not wear jeans.
Plus you'll be trying to steel naps at any hour of the day and jeans are NOT comfortable to sleep in.

well to be completely honest...i've never been a fan of the bulky strollers....and we've found that the simple $10 strollers are great...Ora has a pink one and Ellis has a blue one...and if needed they could fit anywhere...literally...where as the bulky big ones you need a truck to haul them around just to go shopping...

diaper bags hang well enough on the back of them and they are quick to setup...

I honestly like packing light...so whenever we go somewhere I'd rather not have to unpack a trailer to go to Grandma's...so we had our mom's buy a pack 'n play for each of their homes...so when we show up there's one already there...and all hotels have a crib...

I would HIGHLY recommend an AMBY Baby bassinet for the first 3-5 months...you'll be in heaven...no waking up during the night and your baby will start sleeping through the night alot sooner...DEFINITELY Worth it...and if you need this can be packed up small enough to travel with...

http://www.ambybaby.com - great for any parents!

You are the cutest pregnant lady ever!
We love our Co-Sleeper. It fits right next to our bed and can fold up and travel every easily.

I'm with Heather with the sit and stand stroller at Target. Although we did use the stroller that came with the baby carseat alot. We put the big kid in the bottom bucket(even though it tells you not to right on the instructions). And the baby went on top first in the carseat then just in the seat as they get older. But hey I guess that's how us rednecks do things around here.
